DescriptionKeypoint is an AI-driven mobile app that generates summaries of long YouTube videos. By inputting a video link, users receive timestamped highlights and a text recap, streamlining navigation to key points of interest easily. The app also offers a speed-adjustable audio summary, perfect for on-the-go content absorption.
Context
This project is my learning attempt at crafting an interface for an AI driven mobile app. I wanted to gain deeper insights and hands-on experience in bridging AI with user experience. My aspiration was to ensure the entire user journey within the app remained intuitive, ensuring accessibility for all, regardless of tech skills. I wanted to understand the nuances of human-centric design in the realm of AI, which I believe will play an even more significant role in our future.

Keypoint's interface is designed to be uncomplicated, consisting of three main navigation areas:

- Home Page — This is where users can view all their summarized videos. Each summary displays the video's title, source, duration, and a brief summary duration.
- Insert Link Page — A dedicated space for users to input YouTube video URLs. Once a link is provided, Keypoint works its magic to generate a concise summary with key points.
- Profile Page — Personalized for every user, this section displays the user's photo, name, and email. It also offers options to manage the subscription, edit profile details, and log out.

Keypoint allows users to easily paste a YouTube link and get it summarized. A circular loader shows the summarization in action. Once the video has been fully processed, the user is presented with a comprehensive summary, with time-stamped keypoints.

Audio Summary
The summary of the YouTube video generated is also available in the form of audio. This audio feature is especially beneficial for those who might prefer listening over reading or for those who want to multitask.

Users can also access the audio summary player, which will allow them more control over the audio. There is a speed control option, which lets users adjust the playback speed to their preference. Users can also can switch between different voice profiles, allowing them to choose a narration style that resonates best.
